What does it say about me

that the two favorite things I was gifted encourage sitting around? My husband gave me a heated throw. Brilliant! Not as large as a blanket, perfect for keeping warm on the sofa. In case my heated throw left my arms exposed, Lucy gave me a snuggie. And not just a snuggie. Oh no. A leopard print snuggie. Fabulous! I look fierce while chillaxin in mah snuggie. (taking bets on how many more times I can say 'snuggie' in this post*)

SweetieDarling gave me Love's Baby Soft! Do you remember that from junior high? Not only do I look fierce, I smell good too. Silas picked me out a lovely watch so I can time how long I lounge around.

While I'm all wrapped up and cozy (in my snuggie), I'm reflecting on 2009 (blargh, patooie, hiss) and pondering 2010 (tentative optimism). Please do share what lovelies you were gifted with so I can be happy for you. I hope you got a snuggie.

Someone needs to get me some Sweet Honesty now, in the fuzzy bear bottle with the head that screws off.

No snuggie, just a very awesome baby lappy so I can lounge around playing on the comp and avoiding my work.

Those Snuggies are quite the IT item, aren't they?

I'm waiting for them to come up with a heated Snuggie. I mean, it just makes sense!!

I got a bird watching book for the lakehouse, feed scoops, a heated blanket, and pampered chef stuff. I had a great Christmas!!

A live-in housekeeper to help care for my mum in law (I'm pooped!)
The housekeeper bought me some choccies and my kids bought me a torch (I don't know why either)

Best pressie by far was my mum in law still being with us, she slipped into a coma 3 days ago so we aren't expecting to have her much longer but as far as I'm concerned she beat her cancer because she survived over 14 years from the time she was diagnosed.

Happy New Year.
Never miss an opportunity to let your elderly relatives know they are loved.
